According to a report from the Daily Mail, the couple got engaged in May 2023. They will get married next weekend in a winter wonderland-themed wedding.
Bezos was responding to an X post that criticized the report, saying, "This is not true. Unless you're buying each of your guests a house, you can't spend this much money."
He warned people about being gullible when it comes to misinformation and false news. "Now lies can get ALL around the world before truth gets its pants on. So be careful out there folks and don't be gullible," read the post by Bezos.
With throngs of attention arid around the extravagant wedlock of the Amazon founder, SpaceX, and Tesla owner Elon Musk took to his X account to respond to one of Bezos' posts.
Musk said, "That said, I hope it is kind of an epic wedding for you. It's nice to know that somewhere in the world, there are epic events happening, even if one is not present there. It's better to have a world where some amazing events happen at some place over one where nothing amazing happens anywhere."
Another social media user asks, "So how much money are you spending on the wedding?" He was much appreciated by people for clarifying the situation. 'Thankful for Verification Checks and your input too, (sic)' was a user comment.
